Travel Poster

 

You will assume the role of a person who is in charge of Tourism for a certain country.  You are hoping to increase travel to the Middle East.  Your boss has told you if you can improve the amount of people visiting the area you will receive a promotion and a big raise.

 

Select a country or a city within the Middle East. Make a poster which invites tourists to visit as well as informing them about the area.

Your poster will be judged on the following criteria:
1. Is it 18” x 24” minimum size?  (Pictures and words must be big enough for a person sitting in the back of the classroom to see.)
2. Is the poster colorful? 
3. Is the poster informative? It should include a minimum of five facts.
4. Is the poster persuasive, making readers want to travel?

*5.  Does your poster have a catchy slogan?

 

Your presentation will be judged on the following criteria:

1.      Do you highlight the travel experience to the particular area?

2.    Do you explain the reason people, and teens specifically, would want to go there?

3.    Do you speak clearly?  Do you pause in between facts to allow people to take notes?

4.    Are you persuasive?  Do you really sell the positives of the area?
